Photovoltaics System Development Business
1) RPS System for renewable energy
- It is a project aiming to add 1 million Green Homes until 2020; if renewable energy source such as solar energy, solar heat, geothermal heat, small wind power, fuel cell, etc. is installed to a house, the government would provide subsidies for portion of the installation charges
2) purpose
* Authentication certificate which proves the supply of energy is indeed renewable energy
- Issuance of certificate with the quantity supplied multiplied by weighted value
- The term of validity: 3 years from the date certificate is issued
- Must apply for certificate within 90 days after the last day of the month when electric power was supplied with renewable energy.
- Fee: 50 won/REC

* Licensee with over 500MW scale of equipment (except renewable energy equipment) as well as Korea Water Resources Corporation, and Korea District Heating Corporation

* When Green Village project is on the process, community facilities such as community hall, hall of the elderly, etc. cannot apply for the project.

- Electricity Bill after the installation: ￦58,000 per year (consumption of 65kWh Korea Electric Power, ￦4,810/month x 12 months)

* Example 2) in case of a house using 500kWh per month (if installation of 3kW equipment)
- Electricity Bill before the installation: ￦1,522,000 per year (consumption of 500kWh Korea Electric Power, ￦126,840/month x 12)
